Every baby is different, and swaddling may not be suitable for every infant. Always follow current safe-sleep recommendations: place your baby on their back to sleep on a firm, flat mattress in a clear sleep space. Use a lightweight, breathable swaddle that allows room for natural hip and leg movement, and avoid overheating.

Stop swaddling as soon as your baby shows signs of trying to roll. If you have concerns about your baby’s health, comfort or sleep, consult your GP, midwife, public health nurse or another qualified healthcare professional.

At I’m Pregnant, we aim to provide supportive, informative resources to help you navigate pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. Your baby’s safety and wellbeing always come first. 💗
